Some of things sound okay, but the franticness and seeming randomness don't help. The white noise and bubbling effects are kind of ruining things. A remix of your own song would probably be called something like "The n00b Slayer v2," for version two. The tags show me that it most likely wasn't meant to be great, but this is what I think of it.

Fendroca responds:

This was actually Terrible on Purpose. I just replaced the Actual instruments with whatever I found on the VSTs I currently have. I'll try and Upload the real Version next time.

Those are some NICE chords! This is an interesting collab. Who had the most influence on each part of this song? I would guess Lethalix did the chords and Optimize (Dikó?) did the dubstep drop based off your previous work. There's actually a pretty good amount of contrast. It kept the song interesting. The sound design and synth choices were pretty good all the way through.

KamillasRainbow responds:

Thanks for the review. I think we had ecually influence on both drop and synth/chords :)

The first pluck (not the chord stab) sounds kind of bland by itself. The synths seem to overlap too much to me, and they fight with each other for dominance. The melodies by themselves sound okay, there are a few awkward transitions. At 1:50, a rising low pass to fade in treble from low to high would have made the following part more effective, it could could be combined with the increasing volume. I think there were some weird volume imbalances throughout the song. The volume might be okay, I'm not using the best speaker.

JAME24 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I will have to improve on that in the future. In this song i guess i tried to make it louder by stacking a ton of instruments on top of each other, and not mixing it all together didn't help.

Sounds great! How many songs are going to be in this collab EP? I'm going to scout you, Kaixo. It says you haven't been yet.

GGMiXsiMusic responds:

Arround 5 songs. Seems you do follow the news...

The melodies sound fine. The extreme volume differences make it kind of hard to listen to. Dynamic range is okay to have, but I'm having a hard time listening to it in a loud environment. Mixing, along with all parts of music production, factor in to the quality of the music. Make sure to keep working on everything. The song started to get a little repetitive, too.

JimmyCrisco responds:

Thanks for the review! The main issue I've been having is the big differences in the song between .wav, which I wrote and mixed it in (and which NG doesn't take) and .mp3; trust me, it sounds much better in its original form. About the repetition; next time I do a big overhaul on this piece I'll hopefully have a vocalist which will make the song's structure a little more ear-pleasing.

1:45 What the heck. Ow. It sounded nice until there. What do you mean you lost second half on recording?

Jaysonj responds:

the Event recorder Cut out on the EMX2 thats what i meant on the losing 2nd half.
Im sorry you don't understand ..

Sounds really nice! I'll bet it took a lot of work to make! Did your classmates like it? The synths and instruments are really nice. I think there might be kicks/bass drum too frequently at some points.

Gravidi responds:

I'm glad you liked it. My classmates did too :) In regards to the kick drum, it was kind of the point to make it sound like a metal drum beat, but I can see where you are coming from. Anyway, thanks for the review
