Pretty good. Really good use of stereo. I'm definitely picking up deadmau5 vibes.

poipoi responds:

Thanks. I was wondering about changing the drum in the first minute to a snare and having that go on the right but that proved to be way too much panning. If you want you can check out my song changing waters and try to get through it hehe.

Pretty good! The vocal things in the drop were kind of awkward though.

Anitrik responds:

Thank you for your comment ! I'm glad that someone noticed that because I was not very sure if it was good thing to add to a drop or just awkard. It will be changed in the next version ;)

Thanks, idk if it was meant to be, but u missed an l in hello... :P

Noice work m8. I think there is too much phasing going on though, and there's a little too much treble in the melody synth. The arrangement is kind of messy, but some parts like 2:28 and 3:40 sounded okay. It must be that there is too much reverb on the melody and chord synths, I'd check that out. The fact that you limited/compressed it so hard means that the reverb basically filled up every open space. What are your percussion samples? (Did I ask you that before?) Maybe. They sound nice and that is one of the last major pieces of the puzzle that is my music production skills. The melody synth gets RIDICULOUSLY loud at 2:50.
I think this is my longest review so far.
Okay, bye.
Good job.

DJSkeptical responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to stay true to the genre of music which does use alot of reverb, but i may have gone overboard lol will definitely try to tone it back some next time.

the school year
get it?

Spurta responds:

get out

I recommend never using those drum samples. They sound really bad to anyone who's used FL Studio, and they definitely don't fit this song. The hi hat is way to loud, and the synths are too quiet. I recommend watching tutorials and getting used to FL Studio more. I can see how this might result from a first or second attempt at FL Studio.

incursedfate responds:

I unfortunately learned this the hard way when I listened to this hooked up to more expensive bass speakers. It kinda bums me out... Do you know where to find better drums/synth by chance? Thank you for your feedback!

The mixing actually sounds pretty good, compared to some of the other songs I've been listening to. I'm sorry for your loss of laptop. Most of the sounds, except for the snare, sound pretty good. The snare could have used some layering or reverb. The composition is different, something I haven't heard before. It's definitely original, and it reminds me of your name, BlueOceans. This is one of the better songs I have heard today.

Everratic responds:

Thank you for the review! The truth is that I didn't even begin the mixing process for the song. I'm glad it sounds decent.

Some of things sound okay, but the franticness and seeming randomness don't help. The white noise and bubbling effects are kind of ruining things. A remix of your own song would probably be called something like "The n00b Slayer v2," for version two. The tags show me that it most likely wasn't meant to be great, but this is what I think of it.

Fendroca responds:

This was actually Terrible on Purpose. I just replaced the Actual instruments with whatever I found on the VSTs I currently have. I'll try and Upload the real Version next time.

Don't use Music Maker Jam, it says so specifically in the rules. It doesn't take effort. 2 stars. There isn't even an ending. 1 star. Description is "song." No effort given. 0 stars. Half star for taking the time to stitch loops together.

death191 responds:

don't give a crap your not going to stop me from uploading my stuff anyway plus who give about the description no one waste there time to read it anyway there here for the music also I'm a teenager do you expect me to have professional music software I don't even have the money to buy one so check your privilege

Those are some NICE chords! This is an interesting collab. Who had the most influence on each part of this song? I would guess Lethalix did the chords and Optimize (Dikó?) did the dubstep drop based off your previous work. There's actually a pretty good amount of contrast. It kept the song interesting. The sound design and synth choices were pretty good all the way through.

KamillasRainbow responds:

Thanks for the review. I think we had ecually influence on both drop and synth/chords :)
